Born and raised in Germany, Alexander spent his childhood watching his father, a stonemason, passionately transforming raw textures into beautiful objects (at this time, however, he was more passionate about playing drums in his band and exploring the world).
It was only after being scouted as a model and spending time on photo shoots he discovered his true calling which was, ironically, veryclosely linked to his father’s craft. He began assisting Jean Hugues de Chatillon, an important French set designer at the time marking the beginning of his education as a prop stylist and set designer, Alexander leftJean Hugues wanting to define his own style and looking to meet new people and photographers.
He met Karim Sadli, an emerging young French photographer who allowed Alexander the creative freedom he needed, since then he has collaborated with many different and exciting photographers working in both still and fashion film such as Roe Etheridge, Mark Peckmezian,Collier Schorr, Guido Mocafico,Charlotte Wales, Brett Loyd, Josh Olins, Solve Sundsbo, Paolo Roversi, Erwan Frotin and Angelo Pennetta.
